Creating Laser Raiders
Wanted to post images of the creation of the Laser Raiders statuettes before SPX, but time was not on my side. I started by making a model in Zbrush and had a 3D print made. I then made a rubber mold of the 3D print, and cast about 30 plastic Laser Raiders. I'd like to find a more flexible plastic for future Laser Raiders, so they're more durable.

Laser Raiders
The cover and first page from my new 16 page mini-comic, Laser Raiders. I'll be selling this book along with a figure of the main character that I sculpted and cast.
Laser Raiders is an homage to 80’s “toy branding” comics.
Follow Laser Raider Number 5 as he uses his laser web to swing, rappel, and
zip-line his way through Baron Soultech’s Space-Pyramid, in search of the star
princess Nova.
I'll post some production shots of the molding and casting of the figures soon. I have a mini army of Laser Raiders figures piled up on my desk.

Zpocalypse
Zpocalypse : A Post- Apocalyptic Zombie Survival Game; is a soon to be released board game from Green Brier Games. I along with several friends were hired to sculpt Zbrush models of zombies and hero characters that will be turned into 3D prints, then mass produced as minifigs for the game. I can't wait to see the physical 3D prints of the models. The models that I sculpted are the samurai, woman with gum-ball machine, dude with the sawed of shotgun, and a fast moving skinny zombie that's not shown in the image.
